Your CM Cloud email plan includes mailboxes on your domain, like [email protected]. You create and manage them yourself from the portal. Each plan comes with a set number of mailboxes; buying an 'Extra Mailbox' add-on raises your domain's mailbox limit. Mailboxes are counted across your whole domain, so the limit is shared by every email service you own on that domain.

Log in to the portal and open Services, then your email service for the domain. Decide the local part (the text before @) and a strong password for each mailbox.

1. Open your portal, go to Services, and select your email service for the domain.
2. Under Mailboxes, click 'Create mailbox'. Enter the local part (e.g. sales), set a password, and choose the storage quota. Save — the mailbox is usually live within a minute.
3. To sign in to webmail, go to https://mail.cmcloudhosting.com/SOGo/ and log in with the full email address and its password. SOGo gives you mail, calendars, contacts, and tasks.
4. To connect a desktop or phone app instead, use the settings from the 'Finding your SMTP / IMAP details' guide, or set up ActiveSync.
5. Need more mailboxes than your plan includes? Buy an 'Extra Mailbox' add-on from the catalog — your domain's mailbox limit increases immediately and you can then create the new mailbox.
6. To remove a mailbox, open it in the portal and choose Delete.

Support can help if a mailbox won't create because you've reached your plan's limit, if webmail login fails, or if you need to recover access to a mailbox.

Creating a mailbox does not change your DNS or add capacity. If you're at your mailbox limit, you'll need an Extra Mailbox add-on before adding more.
