What this means
WP Starter, Business, and Pro have different PHP memory limits and entry process counts. The right plan prevents Elementor slowdowns, WooCommerce errors, and LVE kill events. Choosing the wrong tier is the most common cause of WordPress performance issues on CM Cloud.

Step-by-step guidance
Step-by-step guidance
- Choose WP Starter (2 GB PHP memory, 20 entry processes) for a simple blog, portfolio, or brochure site with light traffic and no page builders.
- Choose WP Business (3 GB PHP memory, 30 entry processes) if you use Elementor, Divi, WooCommerce, or a membership plugin — these require more PHP memory than Starter provides.
- Choose WP Pro (4 GB PHP memory, 50 entry processes) for high-traffic WooCommerce stores, multi-site networks, or agencies managing many client sites.
- If your site is getting 503 errors or slow load times under Elementor or WooCommerce, upgrade from Starter to Business.
- Contact support to request a plan change — no downtime is expected for the package upgrade itself.
