A tier upgrade moves your hosting account to a higher DirectAdmin package. You upgrade yourself from the portal — PHP memory and entry process limits increase immediately after the package is updated.
Before you start
Know which service you want to upgrade and the name of the target plan (WP Business, WP Pro, Hosting Business, or Hosting Pro).
How to do it
- Open your portal and go to Services.
- Select the WordPress or hosting service you want to upgrade.
- Click the 'Upgrade your WordPress plan' or 'Upgrade your hosting plan' card near the bottom of the service page.
- Or email [email protected] with your service name and the target plan.
- Support will confirm any billing change and apply the package upgrade — no downtime is expected for the package change itself.
