What this means
What this means
The edit box in the AI studio accepts ordinary sentences. A request to change a fact — a phone number, a price, opening hours, a typo — is applied directly to the words on the page and nothing else moves. A request to change how the site looks restyles it. A request to add or remove a page changes the structure.

Open the AI studio in your portal, select the site you want to change, and check your credit balance. Edits use credits, so it is worth putting several changes in one request when they belong together.
Step-by-step guidance
Step-by-step guidance
- Change a fact: 'Change our phone number to 6 77 00 11 22', 'Our new price for a haircut is 3000 XAF', 'We now open at 8am'. These replace exactly that text and leave the rest of the site untouched.
- Fix wording: 'Fix the typo in the About heading', 'Reword the hero to mention same-day delivery'.
- Change the look: 'Make the hero darker', 'Use a warmer colour palette', 'Make the headings bigger'.
- Change the structure: 'Add a Careers page', 'Remove the Testimonials section'.
- Rebuild from scratch: use Regenerate for a completely different design. This replaces the whole site, so anything you edited is written over.
- After editing, click Publish Update to push the change to your live site. Editing alone does not change what visitors see.

None. Editing is entirely self-serve and takes effect as soon as the generation finishes.
What is not automated yet
What is not automated yet
Edits change the site in your studio, not the live one — the live site only changes when you publish. Once you convert a site to an editable app the studio stops editing it, and you make changes in your own code instead.
